Adopt a Highway
This is a state of North Carolina program to pick up litter along our roads. Pineville UMC has adopted Polk St. from NC-51 South to the Danby neighborhood. This is part of our Stewardship ministry to take care of our community and our earth. A light breakfast is usually served. Please contact Paul Claiborne with any questions at pclaiborne2@gmail.com.

Quarterly packing events for Pineville Elementary students




English as a Second Language (ESL)
Classes are held every Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. Come learn or practice your English, make new friends and learn about different cultures.

Golden Pines
The first Wednesday of each month, we host our senior friends and neighbors for a luncheon and special program. Come join us!

Pineville Neighbors Place
Ongoing collaboration and Partnership to assist those in need in the Pineville area.

Annual Potato Drop (October)
Thousands of pounds of potatoes are sorted and distributed to families in need!!

Ongoing Food drives for neighbors in need.

Festival at Pineville Lake Park where we provide a mother's and family tent as well as Blessing of the Animals!




Packaging over 10,000 meals to assist a Global community

United Woman in Faith (UWF) Spring Tea
All women and girls are invited to join PUMC’s United Women in Faith for a fun and delicious tea. Enjoy a yummy afternoon respite with friends and family. Come and pamper yourself while supporting missions!

Pancake Supper and Silent Auction

Enjoy a pancake supper with all the fixings and then browse all of the wonderful items of the silent auction. Fun for the entire family. All proceeds support the annual UWF mission projects.

Angel Tree Program
The Angel Tree program collects actual gifts/gift cards that will go to children/families at Sterling Elementary School. PUMC and Harrison UMC both take collections for this program.
Two Ways to Make Christmas Bright
Shop With a Cop Program
The Shop With A Cop program collects monetary donations which allow children from Pineville Elementary School to shop with a Town of Pineville police officer at Target for Christmas presents. These donations are collected as the November Love Offering. The program is organized through Pineville Neighbors Place.
